It has been a month of giving in and accepting.
I have a green thumb (more like a sprouting thumb actually, everything I touch starts growing, which is not so good soemtimes).
Anyhow, the snob that I am, I never bought artificial foliage... silk plants are for lazy people, or people who can't grow things.
And then, I bought an artifical ficus tree. It has varigated leaves...
I had started missing the feel of indoor greenery, I don't have time to water it and spray it and take away all the dead leaves and keep moving it around the house till it finds the perfect spot. Perfect light, perfect heat and perfect mositure. I don't have the time to watch it to see if it is thriving or just surving. I don't have the time to talk to it, to touch it lovingly everytime I walk by ... so I gave in.
Now with my morning cup of coffee ( no sugar no cream cause it is yummy that way ) I look upon the ficus and sigh. It looks beautiful, if I squint so that the light is dim, I can almost believe it is real...
They make beautiful plants in china.
